Hennie van Duinen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1981 as a Bouwkundig Tekenaar at Ter Smitte & Reis, Hennie then joined Belastingdienst in 1983 in roles such as Invordering Ontvangkantoor der Rijksbelastingen and Controle Opleiding. From 1993 to 1998, Hennie worked at GAK Nederland as a Looninspecteur. Subsequently, Hennie joined BDO Nederland as an Advisor Wage Tax & Social Securities from 1998 to 2000. Hennie then moved to Olympia Uitzendbureau where they served as Head of Payroll from 2000 to 2004. Following this, Hennie established their own company, Van Duinen Consultancy, where they worked as the Owner from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, Hennie joined IMC Financial Markets as a Payroll Controller. During their time at IMC Financial Markets, Hennie held various positions including Global Payroll Specialist and finally as Tax Manager, the most recent role.

Hennie van Duinen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, completing the program between the years 1989 and 1993.
