James Jahnke

James Jahnke is an experienced software developer with a strong background in equity options, electronic market-making, and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Software Developer in Equity Options at IMC Trading since March 2019, James has previously held roles at Chicago Trading Company, where responsibilities included senior software development for front-office applications in both electronic market-making and commodities. Earlier experience includes software development at Vector CANtech focused on automotive embedded software, as well as internships in engineering at Shanghai General Motors. James holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and has completed multiple Master of Science degrees in Global Finance and Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business and Georgia Institute of Technology.
