Malith Weerarathne

Malith Weerarathne is an experienced FPGA Engineer currently employed at IMC Trading since November 2019. Previously, Malith served as a Senior RnD Engineer at PBA Systems, leading a team focused on developing an FPGA-based industrial high precision servo controller, overseeing the complete project lifecycle. Prior to that, Malith held positions at MillenniumIT, first as a Senior Engineer in Hardware Accelerated Systems, working on FPGA applications for high-frequency trading, and earlier as an Engineer and Engineering Intern in the same department. Malith has also contributed as a panelist member for AIESEC in Sri Lanka from 2012 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Electronic and Telecommunication from the University of Moratuwa and GCE Advanced and Ordinary Levels in Mathematics from Ananda College-Colombo 10.
