Emmanuel Valentin has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Emmanuel is currently working at Imcheck Therapeutics, starting in May 2018 as a Program Manager and later being promoted to Director of Translational Medicine in July 2019. Emmanuel is currently serving as the VP of Translational Medicine, a role they began in December 2022. Prior to their time at Imcheck Therapeutics, they worked at Diaccurate as an R&D Manager from September 2016 to April 2018. Emmanuel's experience also includes being the Head of R&D at Aterovax from November 2007 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for pre-clinical and clinical research, intellectual property, product development, and manufacturing. Emmanuel played a crucial role in patenting and developing new immuno-assays for the diagnosis and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases, which were licensed to global IVD companies. Earlier in their career, Emmanuel worked at genOway as a Senior Project Manager from 2003 to 2007 and at ExonHit Therapeutics as a Group Leader in angiogenesis from 2000 to 2003.
Emmanuel Valentin completed their Master's degree in Pharmacology from Polytech'Nice-Sophia between 1994 and 1996. Emmanuel then pursued further education and obtained a PhD (summa cum laude) in Molecular Biology from Université Côte d'Azur between 1997 and 2000.
