Ken Domorod has a diverse work experience in the field of safety and emergency response. Ken started their career in 2004 as a Firefighter/EMT at Mill Creek Fire Company and later worked as a Crew Leader at Hockessin Fire Company from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they became an Emergency Medical Technician at St. Francis Hospital. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as an HSE Lead/First Responder at the Center for Safety and Emergency Response Training, where they developed and implemented safety programs and conducted audits. Ken then joined Superior Energy Services - Marine Technical Services as an HSE Manager from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Ken is working at IMCO General Construction, Inc. Since 2016, they have held various roles such as Safety Coordinator, Safety Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Safety, responsible for ensuring the safety of the organization and its employees.
Ken Domorod attended American Public University System from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting. In addition to their degree, Ken has several certifications including Associate Safety Professional (ASP) obtained in June 2021, Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) obtained in August 2019, Procore Certified: Associate obtained in 2017, Certified Environmental Trainer - Occupational Safety & Health (CET) obtained in December 2016, Occupational Health and Safety Technician obtained in December 2015, Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner obtained in October 2015, Shipyard Competent Person in 2013, Emergency Medical Technician-Basic obtained in March 2003, and 40 Hour HAZWOPER in 2000. Ken also holds a certification as a BLS for the Healthcare Provider Instructor, but the institution and attainment date are not specified.
