Karine Avagyan

Karine Avagyan is a Senior Researcher and Advisor at IMD since September 2012, responsible for supporting clients in business transformation through diagnostics, research, project oversight, and leading learning sessions. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Santiya and a Financial Analyst as a freelancer. Karine has also provided advisory services at Sarah Care and interned in business development at the School for Young Leaders. A co-founder and volunteer at the Central Bank of Armenia, Karine served in multiple roles including Macroeconomist and Methodologist-Analyst. Additionally, Karine has experience as a visiting lecturer and independent consultant, generating significant business plans and analyzing markets. Karine holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Emory University, a Certificate in International Economic Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Diploma in Economics from Yerevan State University.
