Mohamed Elalfy

Mohamed Elalfy has a diverse work experience with a focus on information technology. Mohamed began their career as a Software Programmer at International Computers in 1997. Mohamed then worked as a Networks Engineer at NABCONTRACT in Egypt from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they served as a Systems Programmer at DataLine Technology in Dubai, where they designed and implemented enterprise software solutions and access control systems. Mohamed joined Al Jasem Information Technology in Dubai in 2003, taking on the role of Technical Manager. In this position, they managed security systems projects and implemented POS systems. From 2005 to 2007, Mohamed worked as a Security Systems Consultant at du, where they designed different security systems models and managed systems operations and maintenance. Mohamed then served as Manager of Technology at Dubai World - Imdaad from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2010, Mohamed worked as a Core Banking Systems Admin at The Community Mutual Group. Mohamed then became an IT Operations Manager at Mercy Health and Aged Care Central Queensland from 2011 to 2017. Since 2017, Mohamed has held the position of Director of Information Technology at imdaad.

Mohamed Elalfy completed a Master of Information Systems degree in IT Management at the University of New England (AU) from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, which they attended from 1994 to 2001. Mohamed also holds another Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from SADAT ACADEMY for MANAGEMENT SCIENCES, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.

In addition to their degrees, Mohamed Elalfy received several certifications. Mohamed became TOGAF 9 Certified by The Open Group in 2015. In 2012, they obtained the ITIL Foundation V3.0 certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. That same year, they also earned the PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Foundation certifications from APMG-International.
