Marc Simonet

Marc Simonet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in application development and tissue engineering. Currently serving as Director of Application Development at VIVOLTA since May 2013, Marc has held various roles within the company, including Senior Application Specialist and Application Scientist. Prior to this, Marc completed a PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on electrospinning techniques for cardiovascular tissue engineering. Additional experience includes research positions at Xeltis, Queen Mary University of London, and ETH Zurich, with a strong emphasis on bio-compatible polymers and electrospinning applications. Marc began a career in chemistry at EMS Chemie, where investigations into polyamides took place. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology, an MRes from Queen Mary University of London, and a degree in chemistry from The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur.
