Paola Andrea Velasquez

Paola Andrea Velasquez serves as the Director of People, Culture, and Equity in Manufacturing at IMEC Illinois since December 2021, where efforts focus on creating sustainable programs that support economically disadvantaged populations in small and mid-sized manufacturing companies. Prior experience includes over 18 years at Advocate Sherman Hospital, where roles such as Patient Relations and Guest Services Manager, and Performance Excellence and Cultural Services Manager involved leading transformational change, operational improvements, and managing various departments to enhance multicultural awareness. Additional experience includes managing telecommunications at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, teaching Spanish at Kent State University, and serving as a bilingual GED instructor at Kishwaukee College. Paola holds a Master's degree in Spanish Translation from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Spanish Translation from Northern Illinois University.
