Claire Tillekaerts

Claire Tillekaerts is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and legal practice. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at imec, Orsi Academy, and the Belgian National Orchestra, Claire also holds the position of President of the Council of Regency at the National Bank of Belgium. Claire's prior roles include President of the Board of Directors at the Flanders International Film Festival and an impressive tenure as CEO and General Manager at Flanders Investment & Trade Agency from 2006 to 2022. Claire established the law department at Hogeschool Gent and practiced as a barrister for 20 years while also teaching at Ghent University. Educational qualifications include a Master in Law from Ghent University and a Postgraduate Degree in Management Studies from HOGENT.
