Lode Lauwers has extensive experience in business development and sales in the semiconductor and nano-electronics R&D ecosystem. Lode started their career at IMEC in 1985 as a Scientific Researcher and later became the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Sales. In this role, they focused on strategic collaborations and crafting new content and business models for new market segments. Prior to their role at IMEC, Lode Lauwers served as the General Manager at easics and TranSwitch Corporation. Lode also worked as a Sr. Scientific Advisor at IWT.
Lode Lauwers holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, which was completed in 1993. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1985, they pursued a MsE and PhD in Electronics and Engineering at the same institution.
