Naga Sruti Avasarala has a diverse work experience. Naga Sruti started as an intern at Indo-US MIM Tec Pvt.Ltd. in 2008, where they developed models and designed criteria for optimum moldability and sinterability in feedstock. Naga Sruti also built a scheduling model to allocate products efficiently.
Naga Sruti then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2011.
Naga Sruti joined the International Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials as a Research Fellow in 2011 and worked there until 2013.
From 2013 to 2018, they served as a PHD Research Scholar at imec.
In 2018, they joined ON Semiconductor as a Materials Analysis Engineer, where they were responsible for sample preparation and quality assurance for automotive and image sensor devices. Naga Sruti achieved notable improvements in customer satisfaction and received awards for process improvements.
In 2023, Naga Sruti was appointed as a Project Lead MEMS at imec and Senior Consultant at ENGIBEX.
Naga Sruti Avasarala holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Engineering and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven, obtained between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, with a minor in Electrical Engineering, at North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2010. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with a minor in Chemistry, which they earned from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2005 to 2009.
