Sean Fruin

Sean Fruin is currently the Mechanical Applications Product Owner at IMEG, where responsibilities include defining product vision and managing the product backlog for mechanical design tools. Sean has extensive experience as the Director of Design Technology at Sigma AEC Solutions, focusing on research and development of new technologies to enhance BIM workflows. Previous roles include Mechanical Engineer and Design Technologist, where expertise in computational design and automation was applied. Earlier positions include mechanical specialist roles at KAI Texas and KAI Design & Build, along with internships at Tech Manufacturing and Solutions AEC. Sean holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and an Associate's degree from St. Louis Community College.
