Nariman Heikal is an advocate for education equity, drawing from a foundation in community action and public health. After earning a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nariman taught sixth-grade humanities at the Luís Muñoz Marín School for Social Justice through a Teach For America fellowship. Nariman has worked with students from preschool to college across diverse communities and has held various leadership positions in educational programs. Nariman is currently focused on broadening their involvement in education policy, research, and community engagement.
