Geir Birkedal

Geir Birkedal has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Geir began their career as a student teacher at the University of Oslo, where they taught undergraduate students for 6 semesters. In 2006, they began working as a System Developer at Elliptic Labs and also completed a QA Summer Internship at Opera Software. Geir then worked as a Scientific Programmer at Squarehead Technology and Squarehead Labs from 2011-2012. In 2012, they returned to Elliptic Labs as a Scientific Programmer, where they worked on implementing proprietary signal processing algorithms for mobile devices. In 2019, they began working as a Senior R&D Engineer at Imerso AS.

Geir Birkedal obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 2002 and 2006. Prior to that, they attended Viken Folkehøgskole for one year in 1999-2000, studying Music.
