Adrian Villalba Weinberg

Adrian Villalba Weinberg is an experienced engineer specializing in materials and refractories, currently serving as an S&T Engineer for Abrasives at Imerys since June 2021. Previous experience includes the role of Head of Laboratory at Refracta. Refractarios Especiales S.A. from October 2019 to May 2021, and R&D Engineer for Refractories at BONY SA from April 2017 to September 2019. Adrian completed a PhD focused on failure analysis of refractories at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and CNRS from April 2014 to March 2017, after earning a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2014. Additional academic exposure includes studies at Montanuniversität Leoben and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Céramique Industrielle.
