Ben McCallen has over 20 years of experience in industrial management and continuous improvement within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Industrial Improvement Manager at Imerys since July 2012, Ben has held various managerial roles, focusing on waste elimination and process efficiency. Prior to joining Imerys, Ben worked at Commercial Metals Company, implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the Americas East Region, and facilitating best practices in maintenance and safety culture. Ben’s earlier experience includes roles as a Business Improvement Engineer and Maintenance Electrical Engineer with CMC Steel Alabama, where efforts centered on operational improvements and project management. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Lasater Institute.
