Tong Zhao

Tong Zhao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and product development within the mineral resources and filtration sectors. Currently serving as the Quality Manager for Performance Minerals EMEA at Imerys since June 2017, Tong Zhao has developed and managed Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with industry standards. Previous roles include Quality Manager for Imerys Filtration EMEA & APAC, where responsibilities included regional quality system harmonization and regulatory compliance, and Quality Project Manager for Imerys Talc Europe. Notable past positions include Product & Quality Manager for Calderys and Internal Auditor for Imerys Mineral Resources. Tong Zhao holds multiple advanced degrees in Mineral Resources Exploration and Management and Environmental Sciences from UQAM and Université d'Orléans, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Northwest University.
