Jonas Olsson started their work experience in 2008 as a Servicedesktekniker at Stream Global Services. Jonas then worked as a Konsult at Region Skåne from August 2008 to September 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Thesis Worker at SP Sveriges Tekniska Forskningsinstitut, where they designed and constructed a prototype electronic control circuit using an Arduino. From February 2015 to September 2020, they worked as an Engineer at the same company. Currently, they are employed as a DevOps Engineer at Imint Vidhance (IMINT Image Intelligence AB) starting from May 2022.

Jonas Olsson completed their Masterexamen in Beräkningsvetenskap (Computational Science) at Uppsala University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned their Kandidatexamen (Bachelor's degree) in Fysik (Physics) from Lund University, where they enrolled from 2012 to 2015. Before attending Lund University, they pursued Engelska och pedagogik (English and Pedagogy) at Malmö University from 2006 to 2008, although they did not obtain a specific degree. Jonas completed their Gymnasie (High School) education with a focus on Naturvetenskap (Natural Science) at Katedralskolan i Lund from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Jonas obtained a certification in Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Specialization from Coursera in November 2020.
