Emilio Mouannes

Emilio Mouannes is an experienced professional in the fields of food security, agriculture, and education. Currently serving as Program Coordinator at iMMAP Inc. since November 2022, Emilio previously held multiple roles at AVSI Foundation, including Head of Livelihood Department and Project Manager for a Work Based Learning Agriculture Training project aimed at vulnerable youth. Emilio has also contributed as an Assistant Professor at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and as a Lecturer at the University of Balamand. With advanced education, including a PhD in Food Microbiology and Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Sassari, Emilio has a strong background in agricultural engineering and project coordination, with a focus on supporting vulnerable populations through vocational training initiatives in Lebanon.
