Renji Bijoy

Renji Bijoy is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background. Since 2017, they have been the Founder & CEO/CTO of Immersed [Techstars '17]. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Engineering Mentor for Firehose Project and Viking Education, providing career advice and guidance, as well as answering software-related questions and teaching new software-engineering concepts. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Lead Architect (Ruby on Rails) at Tin Roof Software. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Software Engineer at CareerBuilder, where they were part of the API & Authentication Development Team, developing software for Fortune 500 companies. From 2014 to 2015, they were also a Software Engineer at NCR Corporation, where they were responsible for developing software, meeting with scrum-masters and product owners, delegating tasks to other teams, setting goals, writing testing automation code, and doing code reviews.

Renji Bijoy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics & Computer Science; Pre-Med from Emory University. Renji then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2016. In 2017, they obtained an Engineer’s Degree in the Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree Program from Udacity. In 2018, they obtained a Venture Deals certification from the Kauffman Fellows Academy and in 2017, they obtained a Startup School Online certification from Y Combinator. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained an AngularJS certification from Code School. Currently, Renji Bijoy is studying for a Master's degree in Biblical Studies at the Reformed Theological Seminary, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
