Tom Garvey

Tom Garvey is a Senior Director at Immersive Wisdom, where they focus on mission success in the Indo-Pacific region. Previously, they served as a Battalion Commander in the US Army, overseeing recovery units and achieving significant operational efficiencies. Tom has also led crossfunctional teams for Special Operations Command - Pacific, and directed defense and strategic studies at the United States Military Academy. They hold a PhD in International Relations from The George Washington University, with a dissertation focused on the impact of militant groups on civil war durations. Tom’s military career includes leadership roles in elite Special Forces units and extensive experience in multinational operations.
