Douglas H. Bartel, J.D. is an established immigration attorney currently practicing at the Asylum Clinic Kansas City and serving as a Fellow at Immigrant Justice Corps since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Prosecutorial Intern in the Johnson County, KS Government, and a Judicial Intern for Hon. Roseann A. Ketchmark in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Douglas also has experience in corporate immigration law as a Law Clerk at MDIVANI CORPORATE IMMIGRATION LAW FIRM and in education, having worked as an ESL Services Coordinator and Department Chair for Kansas City Public Schools, as well as an ESL Teacher with Teach For America.
