Jacob Huju is a Senior Attorney at Immigrant Legal Center with experience in various legal and social services roles, including at University of Iowa College of Law, Southern Poverty Law Center, and Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston. Huju holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish and Hispanic Studies from Creighton University.

Immigrant Legal Center + Refugee Empowerment Center

Immigrant Legal Center continues to assist low-income immigrant individuals and families in Nebraska and southwestern Iowa with free, high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy. The legal team assists immigrants of all faiths, ethnicities, abilities, and ages, with a focus on the most vulnerable—victims of domestic violence,children who have been abused or abandoned, and those who would face persecution if they returned to the nation they fled.
