Lisa Richard has extensive experience in social work and education, currently serving as a Pre-Employment Facilitator and Employment Advisor at the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia since September 2019, as well as holding the position of Coordinator for Disability Supports. Concurrently, Lisa has been involved in academia at Dalhousie University since May 2017 in various teaching assistant roles across multiple social work courses. Previous experience includes working as a Social Worker at Adsum for Women & Children and as an Education Officer with the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from Saint Mary's University, complemented by international study experience in Ecuador.
