Sandra Brouwer

Sandra Brouwer currently serves as a Hoor- en beslismedewerker asiel at the Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) since December 2022, where the role involves a combination of work and study in the Basis Opleiding Asiel. Additionally, since March 2022, Sandra has been a Gemeenteraadslid for GroenLinks in Gouda, focusing on diversity and inclusion, citizen participation, biodiversity, nature and environment, animal welfare, and serving on the gebiedsadviescommissie Groenalliantie Midden Holland. Sandra has extensive experience with the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, holding various positions from 1999 to 2022, including Advisor, HR Procesadviseur, and roles related to consular affairs and development cooperation at Dutch embassies in Jakarta and Sana'a. Sandra obtained a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Windesheim between 1987 and 1991.
