Ahmad Mohanna is a Program Specialist at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada since January 2022 and previously served as a Research Officer. With a diverse background in international humanitarian work, Ahmad held various roles within the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), including Regional Security and Crisis Management Coordinator and Head of Office, from 2011 to 2020. Ahmad has also contributed to academia as an MA student and Teaching Assistant at Carleton University from September 2020 to December 2021, where Ahmad obtained a Master of Arts in Migration and Diaspora Studies. Ahmad holds a degree in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, completed in 2017.
