Philippe Rabot is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in administrative tribunals and dispute resolution. Currently serving as a Member of the Refugee Appeal Division at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada since April 2018, Philippe has also held the role of Acting Assistant Deputy Chair within the same division. Previous roles include Board Member at the Landlord and Tenant Board of Ontario, Senior Arbitrator at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and Director at the Alberta Human Rights Commission, where leadership and administration were key responsibilities. Additionally, Philippe has served as a Commissioner for the Canada Pension Plan's Review Tribunals and held significant positions in other organizations such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police External Review Committee and the Copyright Board of Canada. Philippe holds an LL.L. in Law from the University of Ottawa and a certificate in Public International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law.
