Sarah Tsang Ngo is an experienced professional in strategic communications and decision-making within the Canadian public service. Currently serving as a Member and Decision-Maker at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada since April 2023, Sarah previously held the role of Assistant Director of Strategic Communications at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. With prior positions including Acting Director of Communications and Marketing at Service Canada, Sarah has extensive experience in various communications roles across multiple government agencies, including the Canada Border Services Agency and Global Affairs Canada. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours History and International Relations from The University of British Columbia, along with additional education in Japanese language and culture at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
