Saumiya Srivigneswaran

Saumiya Srivigneswaran has a diverse work experience in various government organizations. Saumiya recently worked at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada as the Director (Acting), Special Projects, Operations & Regional Services Branch. Prior to that, they served as the Registrar/Manager at the same organization.

Saumiya also gained experience at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as a Business Development Officer (Acting) and Manager, Information Management (Acting) at Canada Business Ontario. Additionally, they held roles as the Director (Acting) and Manager, Outreach and Partnerships (Acting) at Canada Business Ontario.

Saumiya also worked at Health Canada as a Policy Analyst and as a Policy Analyst at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. Saumiya has experience as a Public Health Officer and Regional Emergency Preparedness & Response Officer (Acting) at the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Furthermore, they served as a Regional Public Involvement and Outreach Officer (Acting) at Health Canada and as a Research Assistant (Acting) at the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Saumiya started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Health Canada.

Saumiya Srivigneswaran completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Queen's University from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a minor in French from Western University. Additionally, they had the opportunity to be an exchange student at Université Grenoble Alpes.
