Marcin Bugno

Dr. Marcin Bugno is the Vice President, Head of RNA Development. He has 20+ years of R&D experience in academia, biotech and large pharma companies.

Prior to joining Immorna, Dr. Bugno served as Senior Director, Analytical and Process Development at Istari Oncology and Director, Technical R&D Drug Substance at GSK Vaccines, where he supported pre-clinical and clinical stage immuno-oncology and vaccine programs. He has experience in analytical and process development for recombinant viral products, protein biologics, and mRNA vaccines. Dr. Bugno published 18 research papers and 3 patents in the field of process science, cell biology, virology, biochemistry and molecular biology.

Dr. Bugno holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jagiellonian University, Poland and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from University of Wolverhampton, England.
