Yuanqing Liu

Dr. Yuanqing Liu is the Chief Scientific Officer at Immorna China. Dr. Liu is a surgeon, an immunologist, and a seasoned translational research leader in the vaccine industry. His early research in oncology established, with others, a role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in cancer microenvironment.

Dr. Liu has over 13 years of big-pharma experience. Prior to joining Immorna, he held various R&D roles with increased responsibility at Sanofi Pasteur France. He has extensive knowledge in development of vaccines against infectious diseases and cancer for adults as well, as pediatric populations. He is an expert in early product PoC demonstration in compliance with FDA, EMEA and other regulatory jurisdictions.

Dr. Liu received his M.D. degree from Shanghai Medical School, Fudan University in Shanghai, and his Ph.D. in Applied Biological Sciences from Free University Brussels (Flandres) in Belgium.
