Nicolas COSSON

Nicolas COSSON has a wealth of experience in engineering, product, data, and research. In 2022, they were Head of Engineering and Product at Immortal Game, where they were responsible for building the next generation chess platform driven by community. Nicolas was also Head of Engineering at Veepee and a Technical Consultant. From 2015 to 2022, they were Chief Technology Officer and Head of Data at Adot, where they managed the Tech and Data teams and built data oriented tools used in their buying architecture. In 2016, they were an Apache Spark Teacher at Telecom ParisTech Big Data Post Masters' degree. In 2014, they were a Data Scientist at MFG Labs, where they designed and implemented a recommender system. In 2013, they were a Research Intern for Volatility Arbitrage at Capital Fund Management. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at Boston University. In 2011, they were a Research Intern at Orange, where they analyzed and modeled human exposure to electromagnetic waves.

Nicolas COSSON completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay in 2014, receiving a Diplôme de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. Nicolas also completed a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics (Statistics and Machine Learning) from Université Paris Cité in 2014. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Statistical Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2013. Nicolas began their academic career in 2008 at Janson de Sailly, studying Mathematics and Physics.
