Alejandra Mitre

Alejandra Mitre, MS, is a skilled research associate currently working in process development at ImmPACT Bio since July 2023. Prior experience includes a CIRM internship at the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine at UC San Diego, where research focused on the HIPPO signaling pathway and VGLL1 in placenta development. Alejandra has also contributed as an associate chemist at Labcorp, where maintenance of mammalian cancer cells and tagging with S35 methionine labels were performed. Previous roles at Labcorp included laboratory technician responsibilities, where diagnostic assays and reagent preparation were conducted. Earlier experience includes serving as a COPE Health Scholar, assisting healthcare delivery, and internships at Palomar Health. Alejandra holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from California State University Channel Islands and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego.
