Orit Foord אורית שוחט פורד

Orit Foord has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Orit Foord is currently the VP of Protein Sciences at ImmPACT Bio, where they contribute to the design and implementation of novel CTL and CAR T cell therapies for solid cancer. Orit Foord previously served as the Senior Director of Research at Adicet Bio and Vice President of Research at Sea Lane Biotechnologies. Prior to that, Orit was the Vice President of Antibody Discovery at Stem CentRX, where they played a role in strategy development and executed the development of antibody therapeutics. Orit Foord also held the position of Director of Antibody Technology at Trellis bioscience, where they focused on discovering and cloning human antibodies. Orit started their career as a Scientist II at Abgenix. Throughout their career, Orit has demonstrated expertise in antibody discovery, development, and implementation of strategic efforts for therapeutic treatments.

Orit Foord completed a Regulatory Affairs Certificate Program from UCSC Extension Silicon Valley in 2013-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science during 1986-1992. Orit Foord also holds an MSc in Molecular Biology from the same institute (1984-1986). Orit Foord completed their undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1981-1984.
