Hector Melo

Hector Melo is a seasoned Field Service Engineer Team Leader with extensive experience in the healthcare diagnostics sector. Currently leading the Northeast Area at Werfen since January 2024, Hector previously held a similar leadership role at Immucor, Inc. since January 2013, where responsibilities included assisting the Regional Service Manager and providing escalation support. Hector has a solid technical foundation, having also served as a Field Service Engineer at Siemens Healthcare and as an Avionics Maintenance Technician in the United States Marine Corps. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University, complemented by training at the Naval Technical Training Unit.
