Irina Leonardi

Irina Leonardi has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology and medicine. Irina is currently working at Immunai as the Scientific Communications Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Weill Cornell Medicine as an Instructor of Immunology in Medicine and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Dr. Iliyan Iliev at the Jill Roberts Institute for Research in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, focusing on the mechanisms of fungal recognition in the gut. Irina also worked as a PhD Candidate at University Hospital Zürich. Irina'sexpertise and research experience in immunology and medicine make their a valuable asset in their current role at Immunai.

Irina Leonardi earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from ETH Zürich in 2009. Irina then went on to complete a Master's degree in Biology, Microbiology, and Immunology from ETH Zürich from 2009 to 2011. After that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Zurich from 2011 to 2015.
