Kristin Ryker

Associate Director, Clinical Operations at Immune Tolerance Network

Kristin Ryker, MPH, ACRP-CP has extensive experience in clinical operations and research. Kristin is currently the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at the Immune Tolerance Network since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Clinical Operations Manager at the same organization from September 2018 to May 2023, and served as a Clinical Operations Manager from September 2014 to September 2018. Kristin also worked at UCSF, where they were the Expedited Application Coordinator for the Human Research Protection Program from October 2013 to September 2014, and the Manager of UCSF Study Management Service from June 2012 to September 2013. In addition, they worked as a Research Associate at Indiana University School of Nursing from January 2010 to February 2012. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Indiana State Department of Health, including Vaccine-Preventable Disease Epidemiologist from May 2008 to January 2010, and Assessment Epidemiologist from July 2007 to May 2008. Kristin also worked as a Research Assistant at Indiana University School of Nursing from May 2006 to July 2007, and as a Wellness Assistant at IUPUI Health Services from June 2005 to September 2006. Kristin'searliest work experience was as a Tobacco Free IUPUI Graduate Assistant at IUPUI from August 2003 to May 2005.

Kristin Ryker obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2004. Kristin further pursued their education at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where they completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology & Behavioral Health Science from 2004 to 2007. In 2004, they also participated in a summer session of studies in Public Health (non-degree) at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on social epidemiology and public health ethics. Prior to their university education, Kristin Ryker completed their high school education at Ben Davis High School, earning an Honors Diploma in 1999.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kristin Ryker holds certifications in the field of clinical research. Kristin obtained the Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) in June 2012. Kristin has also obtained the ACRP-CP certification from the ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2022.
