Rui Tostoes

Rui Tostoes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Rui is currently working as the VP CMC at ImmuneBridge since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Manager at MilliporeSigma from May 2021 to June 2022, where they also held the position of Head of Acoustic Cell Processing from October 2019 to May 2021.

Before joining MilliporeSigma, Rui worked at FloDesign Sonics, a part of MilliporeSigma, where they served as the Vice President Cell Processing from September 2017 to October 2019. Rui also worked as a Senior Process Engineer at the same company from November 2016 to September 2017.

Prior to their experience at MilliporeSigma, Rui worked as a Development Engineer at CCRM from June 2016 to November 2016. Rui also held two research positions at University College London, where they worked as a Senior Research Associate from September 2015 to January 2016 and as a Research Associate from February 2012 to August 2015.

Rui's earlier experience includes working as a PhD student at IBET - LAO (Laboratório Associado de Oeiras) from August 2008 to December 2011. Rui also worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at MIT Portugal Program from September 2008 to October 2009. Additionally, Rui worked as a Researcher at Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia in 2006.

Rui Tostoes completed their education in a chronological order. In 1985, Rui attended Colegio Valsassina, where they did not pursue any particular degree or field of study. From 2000 to 2006, Rui Tostoes attended Universidade Nova de Lisboa and obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology. Following this, they enrolled in the MIT-Portugal PhD programme from 2007 to 2012, specializing in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
