Amy Axel

Amy Axel is an experienced professional in scientific operations and research, currently serving as the Director of Scientific Operations at Immuneering Corporation since January 2021, after holding the role of Associate Director of Operations. Prior experience includes over a decade at Johnson & Johnson, where Amy held positions including Principal Operations Specialist and Senior Scientist, focusing on oncology biomarkers, translational research, and assay development. Earlier roles include Senior Associate Scientist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, where contributions were made to tumor modeling and grant applications, and research positions at The Ohio State University and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
