Miguel Pereira Coutinho has extensive work experience in the legal and finance sectors. In 1999, they began their career as an Associate Lawyer at Abreu & Marques, Sociedade de Advogados, a pioneering firm in the internationalization of the Portuguese legal practice. In 2005, they became the Head of Legal and Compliance Officer at Banco Cetelem, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, where they were responsible for corporate governance, controlling main litigation processes, and providing legal advice to management and the board. In 2007, they were appointed Country Manager in Angola at TopAtlântico. In 2012, they became a Founding Partner and Manager at TRIGNO. From 2017 to 2020, they were involved in consulting and investment activities, including as Cofounder of A+ ENERGY, Controller at FFS CAPITAL, Controller at STORM FINANCE, and Advisor at HIDROFARM. Since 2020, they have been working as General Counsel at Plasfer - Healthcare Products & Solutions, and in 2022 they will become the Operations Manager at Immunefi.
Miguel Pereira Coutinho attended the Nova School of Business and Economics from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Course for Executives in General & Applied Management. From 2001 to 2002, they attended Boston University and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Miguel also attended Universidade Católica Portuguesa from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Licenciado in Direito, with a fourth year spent at Erasmus in Turin, Italy.
