Alexandra Joseph

VP, Research at ImmuneID

Dr. Alexandra Joseph joined ImmuneID as Vice President of Research in July 2021 and brings over 20 years of basic and translational research experience in immunology and inflammation. Previously, she was with Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals where she served as Head of Translational Research. Prior to Kiniksa, Alexandra rose through the ranks at Sanofi, starting as a staff scientist and ultimately advancing to Head of Scientific Portfolio Management and Operations of the Immunology and Inflammation Research Therapeutic Area. During her time at Sanofi, she established significant managerial expertise in organizational development, operational leadership, discovery and translational research, clinical development and drug approval.

Alexandra received a BS in biology from Santa Clara University and earned her Ph.D. in immunology from Tufts University School of Biomedical Sciences. Her postdoctoral fellowship training was at Harvard Medical School in the Klaus Rajewsky Lab, where her research focused on Hodgkin’s disease and B cell lymphoma.
