Heather Stokes, MBA, MS

Heather Stokes has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Heather is currently the Vice President of Finance at ImmuneSensor Therapeutics, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they operated their own consulting business called Heather S Stokes Consulting, where they served as the Owner and President. In this role, they provided accounting and finance consulting services to multiple companies, primarily in the biotechnology sector. Heather started their consulting business in January 2014 and continued until February 2023.

Before starting their consulting business, Heather worked as the Vice President of Finance at JeNu Biosciences, Inc. from April 2013 to September 2014. JeNu Biosciences was a technology-driven beauty company that developed ultrasound skincare systems. The company was acquired by a private entity in August 2014.

Prior to their time at JeNu Biosciences, Heather held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at YM BioSciences Inc. from January 2011 to March 2013. YM BioSciences was a life sciences product development company specializing in hematology and cancer-related products. The company was later acquired by Gilead in February 2013. In their role as a Senior Financial Analyst, Heather provided financial analysis to support business development deals and long-range corporate planning.

Heather's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President at Kilop USA, Inc., an importer of fibers, filaments, and resin plastics for the textile and nonwovens industry. Heather managed the financial operations of the parent company and two separate entities from January 2001 to January 2009. During their time at Kilop USA, they oversaw $35M in annual revenue and managed a staff of five direct reports.

Heather Stokes holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado. Heather also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the same university. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Marketing from the University of North Carolina.
