Kurt Boonen

Kurt Boonen is a seasoned professional in the field of biological sciences, currently serving as the Chief Data Officer and Co-Founder at ImmuneSpec since February 2023, and holding an Assistant Professor position at the University of Antwerp since September 2018. Previous experience includes serving as an R&D specialist in proteomics at VITO from October 2017 to March 2023, and engaging in postdoctoral research at institutions such as KU Leuven and the University of Toronto, focusing on computational biology and proteomics. Kurt Boonen earned a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences from KU Leuven in 2008, following a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution in 2004.
