Xianzhe Wang

Xianzhe joined Immunitas in May 2022, as the Director and Head of Antibody Discovery, bringing extensive experience in antibody discovery, engineering, developability assessment, and CMC. Prior to joining Immunitas, Xianzhe was the Associate Director of Protein Sciences & Analytics at Compass Therapeutics in Boston. During his 6-year tenure there, Xianzhe played a key role in establishing several technology platforms and high-throughput workflows. He made significant contributions to moving several monoclonal and bispecific antibodies from discovery to IND-enabling studies and clinical stage. Prior to this, Xianzhe received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, where he discovered and characterized novel neutralizing antibodies against bacterial toxins.
