Sushant Kumar

Sushant Kumar is a Senior Scientist at ImmunoACT since February 2025, focusing on the development of indigenous cell and gene therapies. Prior to this role, Sushant served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from August 2021 to December 2024. Sushant's academic background includes a PhD in immunology with a specialization in cancer immunology and autoimmunity from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Sushant also held roles as a Research Assistant and Doctoral Student. Additional experience includes a Junior Research Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, alongside a Master of Technology in Biotechnology from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Lovely Professional University.
