Ian Williamson is a QC Director with over 20 years of experience in Quality Control, GMP, and Analytical Development. Ian's background includes extensive work in cross-functional product lifecycle roles, encompassing Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Supply Chain operations. Previously, Ian led teams at BioVex, Amgen, Freeline, and Immunocore, focusing on method development, clinical testing, and regulatory compliance. Ian is currently establishing a QC GMP function and laboratory facilities at Immunocore, where they continue to enhance QC processes and systems. Ian holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc from the University of York.
