Janet Saunders

Janet Saunders is currently a Principal Scientist at Immunocore, where they leverage their extensive expertise in antibody discovery and protein engineering. Prior to this role, Janet held positions as an Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca and worked as an Associate Scientist II at MedImmune. They completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, focusing on evolving and optimizing stable biopharmaceuticals. Janet earned a PhD from the University of Leeds and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham, complemented by studies at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon.
