Robert W. Wilkinson

Robert W. Wilkinson, Ph.D., is the Vice President and Head of Oncology Research at Immunocore, where they focus on immunotherapies to improve cancer treatments. With extensive experience in oncology drug discovery, Robert has been instrumental in advancing numerous drugs into clinical trials, including Imfinzi® and Imjudo®. They previously served as Executive Director and Global Head of NextGen Immuno-Oncology at AstraZeneca, where they developed innovative drug discovery strategies and established a robust NextGen IO pipeline. With a strong background in both biology and immunology, Robert has contributed to over 85 peer-reviewed publications and has presented at numerous international scientific meetings. They hold a Ph.D. in Experimental Immunology from The University of Birmingham and a BSc from Aston University.
