Jim Walsh

Jim Walsh is a seasoned professional in pharmacovigilance operations with over 20 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Manager of Pharmacovigilance Operations at ImmunoGen, Inc. since March 2022, Jim previously held the position of Senior Drug Safety Specialist at Alkermes, beginning in February 2012, where responsibilities included quality review of adverse events and oversight of coding and reporting standards. Prior to this, Jim worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Lead in Pharmacovigilance, where the focus was on developing a regulatory intelligence strategy for the company’s first approved drug. Jim's early career foundations were established at BiogenIdec, where roles included Drug Safety Data Specialist and Clinical Trials Safety Quality Specialist, conducting quality reviews and maintaining standards across numerous clinical trials. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from UMass Boston.
